The Task Switcher application shows the functioning of applications, and can switch between them. It also helps to close one or all applications in progress or move to the Today screen.

The application allows you to hide specific applications, so you do not see them in the list of applications running.

The application allows you to associate an icon or an image file to a specific application, particularly useful when the icon is displayed by default. It is also possible to show another title associated with the current application.

It is advisable to involve the application with a hardware button. By clicking repeatedly on the hardware button, select the next application in the list, supporting and maintaining the hardware button, apply the selected action (activate, close) on the application selected.

The Start menu is more than just a replacement for the standard menu available on Windows Mobile Pocket PC. The main difference is that it has been done as a service and so does not need to be launched at startup, it is done automatically, and it is not an extra exe, dll, but a charge by services . exe

Notice:

Change the settings folder name in the registry if the StartMenu\Settings folder has another name.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\FdcStartMenu]
“SettingsFolderName”=”Settings”
For instance in French, it should be:

“SettingsFolderName”=”Paramètres”

The request SoftKeyAppletEx applet is a control panel that lets you modify the applications related to the keys that you find on the screen today on Windows Mobile 2005 came out. So, this applet is not for previous versions of Windows Mobile.

The applet can be launched by the Settings dialog box, anything that is necessary to navigate the device to associate an application to the sidelines and possibly amend the text that appears to touch on the screen .

NotifyMe The request is just a small application that already existed on Palm OS (NotifyMe!) And that someone has asked for Windows Mobile, so I decided to apply. This request essentially checks if the memory card into the slot. If the SD card is ejected by accident or deleted by the user a pop up message and or sound / vibration informs the user that the SD card is not in its housing.

The programme should be launched at least once to install the applet in the Windows directory. Then, the applet will be launched in order to configure the application.
